ABOUT
“Taipei Friends (Taipei 好友) - Free English Tour guide in Taipei City, Taiwan” is a graduation project by a group of junior students of International Tourism Department, Tamkang University, Lanyang Campus. This is a design of a student-based and non-profit organisation, founded in December 2019. For tourists, we offer free private English tours in Taipei City, Taiwan with the aim to present the unique and diverse Taiwanese cultures, history, lifestyle, traditions and sightseeing. For the volunteer tour guides and the organisation members, we want to provide them with the opportunity to interact with foreigners, to practise and improve their English ability as well as gaining a deeper understanding of different perspectives of Taiwan. Furthermore, we also provide long term training classes to nurture and develop tour guides so that tourists can have a pleasant experience.
