WHO CAN BOOK TAIPEI FRIENDS TOURS?

Any individuals, groups (preferably less than 6 pax/group) or organisations are welcomed to be our guests.

HOW TO BOOK WITH TAIPEI FRIENDS TOURS?

Tourists can book with Taipei Friends Tour via 2 main channels: 

  • Email: Send your inquiries and personal information directly to our email taipeifriendstour@gmail.com and kindly wait for our replies within 3-5 working days. If you haven’t got our respond within that time, please send your inquiry email again as your bookings may go to the spam box

  • Online booking form: Fill in this form (https://forms.gle/su5m35JUMdsAY37N7). You will get tconfirmation email from us for successful submission, then please kindly wait for the reply from taipeifriendstour@gmail.com within 3-5 working days. 

WHEN IS THE TOUR CONFIRMED?

We will send you booking confirmation via email within 3-5 working days in written confirmation. Please make sure to check all the details carefully so that we can further process your booking.

WHAT IS THE BASIS OF ACCEPTING A TOUR?

“First come, first serve” and depending on the number of available tour guides.

HOW MUCH IS THE TOUR FEE?

Our tour guide services are totally free of charge and no insurance included. Please kindly prepare to pay for all of your expenses such as admission fee, meals, transportation (including the tour bus/van service) as well as for our volunteer tour guide during the tour which has stated in the Terms & Conditions.

DO I HAVE TO GIVE A TIP?

Tips for our tour guides are optional, you are not required to contribute any tips as our guides are all volunteers.

WHERE DO I MEET MY GUIDE?

You will meet your guide at the appointed meeting place, your guide will wear a badge/name tag with our organisation’s name on it.

HOW CAN I TRAVEL FROM ONE DESTINATION TO ANOTHER?

Mainly by public transportation (MRT, Bus) and walking. You could suggest taking a taxi if you don’t want to walk a long way, but you need to cover the cost yourselves and for our guides as well.

WHAT DOES THE ‘TRANSPORTATION FEE’ COVER (NUMBER 3 IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS)?

The transportation fee for the tour only covers from the appointed departure meeting point until the ending drop-off point.

DO YOU OFFER “HOTEL PICK-UP/DROP-OFF SERVICE”?

Yes. We do provide “Hotel pick-up/drop-off service”, but it's better if you travel by yourselves to control the transportation cost. Our “Hotel pick-up/drop-off service” is subject to an additional charge.

WHAT TO DO IF SCHEDULE CHANGES OR URGENT CANCELLATIONS?

Tourists must inform us as soon as possible via our email taipeifriendstour@gmail.com or hotline: 0963358574 (Saaya - Tour Operation Manager); 098123756 (June - Training Program Manager). We would try our best to assist your changes, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to help you and may need to cancel your booking.
