As Taiwan has become a dynamic island that accommodates multicultural and multilingual society, the vibrant atmosphere in interpersonal communication has certainly elevated to another level compared to the past decades. There are several varieties of languages being spoken in Taiwan, but for foreigners or newcomers of Taiwan, it is very common to hear two types of languages across the islandwide, which are known as the Taiwanese Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien.

Taiwanwse Mandarin is the official language spoken and being educated in Taiwan, on the other hand, Taiwanese Hokkien is majorly spoken as a local dialect, which ultimately forms bilingual conversation among the locals. Besides that, other minority languages such as Hakka, English, indigenous languages, Taiwanese sign language, and other different foreign languages, are also being used within certain communities and business fields.
